How to Order

You can email, chef@appetitestogo.com, or call our function coordinator, Jodi (207)-570-5634. We have a 25-person minimum. For the smaller party sizes, you have a choice of one or two entrees or sandwiches flavors for your event. We provide additional choices for larger parties. Once we discuss your needs, we will email you your menu. We ask you to review the menu and make any changes. Once the menu is approved by you, we will deliver your food at the specified time and location. We will be back after your event to pick up the dishes. We can also provide wait staff to set up, serve and clean up at your event, if you prefer. 

How Much Does it Cost

Our rates are as follows; the food cost (on menus), travel (if event is beyond the Bangor area) $0.70/mile plus travel time, labor (if servers are needed) and rentals (if needed). Our labor rate is $20/hour per server, minimum charge of $60 per server. There is an 18% service fee to the cost of the food. If you would like to rent place settings, silverware, linens, tables and chairs etc. for your event, we can coordinate with a local rental company for you. We can provide paperware at no additional charge.

Weddings and Larger Events

Appetites can do as little or as much of the reception as you like. We can setup the reception area and food tables, serve the food, clean up during the service, cut and serve the cake and do the final clean up and even coordinate the rentals (if needed). We supply the equipment to serve the food, chaffing dishes, tongs, serving spoons, platters etc. We do not provide the tables, chairs, place settings, glassware, linens etc. These items would need to be rented. If you have family or friends who want to contribute to the set-up or clean-up of the event, that works for us. Appetites works with you to design a menu for your event. The quote is based on the estimated number of attendees. Once you approve the menu and send in your 25% deposit, your event is confirmed with us. Two weeks prior to your event (or before) we ask you to confirm the number of attendees. We will make any menu and pricing changes, if needed, at that time. Final payment is due two week prior to the event.  

Allergy Policy

Appetites takes food allergies very seriously. We understand that you or others in your party may have food allergies. We will do our best to accommodate your party’s needs. Although we do our best, we are not an allergenic free kitchen. We recommend that you do not order any items that contain the allergen(s) of concern. Elimination is the best prevention. If you choose to order items with ingredients that your guests have known allergies to, please request your guest have a discussion with us prior to eating any of our products. Please keep in mind that on-site contamination can happen (e.g. food buffet). Your personal safety is important to us. There will be staff available to answer questions about the food and its ingredients. Appetites takes no responsibility for any allergenic reaction or the resulting outcome.

Our Cancellation Policy

If the client cancels an event 72 hours prior to the event, the client will be responsible for up to 50% of the invoice depending on the amount of effort that has been put into the event at the time of cancellation. If the client cancels an event within 72 hours of the event, the client will be responsible for up to 100% of the invoice depending on the amount of effort that has been put into the event at the time of cancellation. All deposits and final payments are nonrefundable. Events can be rescheduled, if we have the date available. This policy pertains to all functions unless the contract states otherwise.
